Korean building materials company LX Hausys said Thursday it is joining the International Surface Event 2024, the largest flooring trade show in North America, in a bid to secure a bigger footing in the all-important market.

More than 700 companies specializing in flooring, tiles and other building materials are expected to participate in the TISE 2024, which takes place in Las Vegas this week until Friday.

The company’s exhibition booth, themed “Stage for Life," features a range of new flooring products with distinctive designs and advanced functions, considering local interior preferences and living cultures.

Its key products include PRESTG XL, a luxury vinyl flooring material crafted from stone polymer composite, renowned for its robust resistance to moisture.

The product is gaining attention at home and abroad as a more durable alternative to carpets and wooden floors that are preferred in North America and Europe.

The booth also has experience and technology zones to allow visitors to learn about the details of each flooring material and the related technologies. Consultations with clients are also held at the venue.

“Through this year’s TISE exhibition, we aim to beef up efforts to expand our presence in the North American market by securing new clients, such as construction companies, and undertaking more proactive sales strategies to meet the local demand,” an LX Hausys official said.
