Jessie has unveiled a beach-themed music video for her latest single “Down,” featuring plenty of tight choreography.

The 29-year-old singer’s new video for the upbeat song has been watched over 1.5 million times on YouTube since it was released on Friday, prompting some fans to call her the “Korean Nicki Minaj.”

The song, which is packed with plenty of feel good vibes and irresistibly addictive beats, has been hailed as a surefire hit for the summer by fans.

In the video filmed by August Frogs, she firsts cuts a glamorous figure in a white top and a pair of trousers before she goes through several outfit changes ranging from a neo green bikini set to a black and gold mesh top and short shorts complete with hoop earrings, creating her signature bad girl look.

The Korean-American singer is seen dancing on the beach to her tropical-tinged summer song before jumping into the arms of her love interest.

Jessie worked with producer Gray from hip-hop label AOMG for her latest single “Down,” for which she wrote the lyrics.

The singer first performed the new single alongside four other songs at the fitness event Fitnessstar Incheon on Saturday.

The single was released digitally on Friday, nearly a year after her first EP Un2verse was released last July.
