T'way tops the list of consumer satisfaction index for 4 years in a row

South Korean budget carrier T'way Air said Wednesday it has retained the top place in the low-cost carrier category of the Global Customer Satisfaction Competency Index 2018 for the fourth consecutive year.

The budget carrier said it had high scores in the categories of customer value, global competency and customer loyalty that allowed it to move past rival low-cost carriers.

The index was based on a survey conducted by the Global Management Association, a Seoul-based body, on about 750 products and services in nine industrial sectors by about 100,000 South Koreans in April.

T'way Air is set to list its shares on the country's main bourse later this year in a move to secure a new growth engine.

Currently, the carrier serves 13 destinations, including Vietnam's Danang, Russia's Vladivostok and Bangkok. (Yonhap)
