Since 2015, the South Korean airline has been providing job training sessions for Vietnamese women in the low-income bracket. The program has helped them get employed by Korean companies in Vietnam, as well as local workplaces such as supermarkets, health centers and elementary schools.
“Through our program in Vietnam, we have been contributing to increase the employment rate in Vietnam. We will continue to support Vietnamese women entering the workforce and their economic independence,” said Cho Young-suk, a managing director at Asiana Airlines.
