Taste of Singapore at Millennium Seoul Hilton




Millennium Seoul Hilton’s all-day-dining buffet restaurant Cafe 395, will introduce Singaporean cuisine from June 12-19.

The restaurant has invited two guest chefs from Singapore, including Chef Bryce Li from M Social Hotel. He and his assistant chef will introduce a “kopitiam” style Singapore food to the buffet, presenting foods of various cultures and styles.

The hotel hopes the promotion will serve as a chance to show why Singapore is known as the “food capital of Asia.”

The buffet is priced at 94,000 won per person for lunch and 99,000 won per person for dinner.

Bangkok gourmets at Courtyard Mariott hotels



Three Courtyard Marriott hotels in Korea -- Seoul Namdaemun, Seoul Times Square and Seoul Pangyo -- are to offer authentic Thai cuisines through its “Yum Yum Thai” promotion.

The promotion will be held at the hotels’ all-day dining restaurant MoMo Cafe from June 4 to 30.

Thai chefs have been invited from JW Marriott Bangkok to introduce a variety of Thai dishes with exotic local recipes and flavors, such as khor moo yang, yam woon sen and tom yam goong.

The prices, ranging from 42,000 won to 75,000 won, vary by hotel.

Happy hour at JW Mariott Dongdaemun



JW Mariott Dongdaemun Square Seoul’s rooftop bar The Griffin is running a happy hour promotion every day from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The promotion is hosted with local beer brand Red Rock. The exterior terrace of the bar was decorated under the direction of artist Paik Hae-young.

Red Rock beer costs 9,000 won a glass but if ordered as a jug (2 liters), it costs 18,000 won. A nibbles set, including barbecued pork prepared by the hotel’s chef, potato wedges, burger, cheese and olive, is priced at 60,000 won. If the set and the beer jug are ordered together, the price will be at 68,000 won.

Fresh fish buffet at Sheraton Seoul D Cube



Diners who would like to devour fresh fish can visit Feast restaurant at Sheraton Seoul D Cube City Hotel, which is holding a sushi and sashimi promotion until the end of August.

Both raw and cooked seafood items, such as sushi, sashimi and steam-cooked menus, are available. For an dditional charge, diners can enjoy unlimited wine or sake of choice. The promotion is available only during dinner hours at a price of 88,000 won per person.

As the restaurant is on the 41st floor, diners will be able to enjoy a night view of the city along with the seafood.

Italian gelato at InterContinental Seoul Coex



For those looking for hotel summer desserts other than bingsu, Sky Lounge at InterContinental Seoul Coex presents chef’s homemade Italian gelato until the end of August.

Gelato is loved around the world for its dense, rich flavor with a chewy texture. This summer, Sky Lounge offers three flavors -- tiramisu, affogato and mango yoghurt.

The three types of gelato are made with authentic Italian ingredients, for example, Italian mascarpone cheese and Italian espresso.
