Two men were booked without physical detention on suspicion of aggravated assault with a weapon against a man in a luxury sedan, Incheon police said Monday.
According to Incheon Jungbu Police Station, the suspects, 19 and 20, are accused of shooting several air pellets at the man driving by a one-way street in a Mercedes-Benz near Sinpo International Market at 9:37 p.m. on April 17.
The 41-year-old driver and one pedestrian reportedly sustained injuries. The victim has been treated for injuries near his abdomen, according to reports.
Police said they were able to track down the suspects two days later on April 19 after checking surveillance footage.
The suspects, known to be close friends, claimed to have “aimed at other objects in the distance, but hit the victims by accident,” according to police.
