A 39-year-old man has been sentenced to a 25-year prison term for murdering his wife.
The Jeju District Court on Monday handed down the sentence to the suspect, identified only by his surname Lee.
Lee allegedly committed the murder while quarreling with his wife at their apartment in Jeju City on Sept. 1.
When his wife tried to leave the apartment, Lee reportedly dragged her to the kitchen and stabbed her to death.
Lee, drunk at the time, fled in his car but was caught by police at the Port of Jeju.
