North Korea’s calendar for this month showed only Oct. 4 as a designated Chuseok holiday, in contrast to South Korea’s 10-day record holiday.

Chuseok is a holiday that celebrates the year’s harvest.

Another national holiday for North Koreans this month is Oct. 10, which marks the foundation of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
