Korea’s oil refiner S-Oil provided 60,000 coal briquettes for the underprivileged in Gaemi Village in Hongjae-dong, northwestern Seoul, as part of its regular campaign supporting low-income residents, the company said.

S-Oil CEO Othman Al-Ghamdi and some 100 employees delivered coal briquettes to the homes of low-income households and the elderly who live alone. 


“I recognize that coal briquettes are an important heating source that low-income groups heavily depend on. I hope all of our warm wishes and efforts helps them stay warm in the winter,” the CEO said after delivering the coal briquettes.

S-Oil has annually distributed coal briquettes to the underprivileged as part of its corporate social responsibility projects.
