Oct. 31, 2016 - 17:02 By Jo He-rim
The temperature in Seoul is set to drop below zero on Tuesday, the Korea Meteorological Administration said.

Affected by the continental anticyclone from China, the sky will be clear in most of the country, while the central area and some parts of southern peninsula will face a cold morning with the temperature dipping below zero.

The morning will see lows of minus 7 degrees Celsius in parts of the country, while it is expected to reach up to 13 degrees Celsius during the day.

“The day temperature will stay within around 10 degrees Celsius, but it will be colder with wind chill,” the KMA said.

The cold weather will last for a couple of days before rising back up to the average for this time of year from Wednesday.

In some regions, including the west coast of South Chungcheong Province and Jeolla Province, light raindrops and snow may be seen in the early morning.

The sea waves will rise to a height of 4 meters in some areas.
