Another first-generation K-pop group is gearing up for its return to the spotlight.
Boy band Shinhwa will be releasing “She Said” from its upcoming 13th studio album this week, according to its management agency Shinhwa Company on Wednesday.
“The new song is a medium tempo track that centers around two people who are more than just friends, yet not quite a couple,” according to the company.

The six-member act -- consisting of Eric Mun, Lee Min-woo, Kim Dong-wan, Shin Hye-sung, Jun Jin and Andy Lee -- debuted in 1998, and have enjoyed broad popularity alongside some of the biggest names in K-pop history, including Sechs Kies, Fin K.L., g.o.d, H.O.T, and others. Shinhwa is the longest-running K-pop boy band of all time.
The group is among a growing list of first-generation K-pop groups making comebacks this year. Legendary boy band Sechs Kies released “Three Words,” its first single in over a decade just this month, and girl group S.E.S recently announced a plan to reunite next year to mark 20 years since their debut.
“She Said” will be available on local music sites from Friday at midnight. The full album is scheduled for release some time this year.
