Kim fired a seven-under 66 in the final round of the Reignwood LPGA Classic in Beijing, for the four-round total of 24-under 268 at Reignwood Pine Valley Golf Club.
Kim edged out fellow Korean Hur Mi-jung by a stroke. Another Korean, Lee Mi-rim, finished alone in third at 22-under.
Hur was the overnight leader, and Kim trailed her by three strokes through three rounds. Kim picked up three birdies against a bogey on the front nine and caught fire on the back nine with four birdies and an eagle at the par-5 16th.
Hur started her day with three bogeys over the first four holes. She reeled off five birdies in the last six holes, but it was not enough to make up for the early miscues.
This was Kim's four-career LPGA win and her first since November 2010. She is the sixth South Korean to win on the tour in 2016. (Yonhap)
