Global K-drama stars Song Joong-ki and Shin Min-a will attend this year’s Seoul International Drama Awards, according to Seoul Drama Awards on Wednesday.
Song was in the hit series “Descendants of the Sun,” while Shin was in “Oh My Venus.”

“Our hope is that this event, which invites drama lovers from all over the world to share the value of TV dramas, will further raise the global profile of the Korean drama industry,” said the SDA Organizing Committee in a statement.
Organized by SDA and the Korean Broadcasters Association, the event brings together and recognizes leading figures in the global TV drama industry. This year’s ceremony is expected to highlight 265 productions from over 50 countries.

Japanese actress Fujii Mina, Taiwanese model-actor Jasper Liu and American actor Sean Dulake, among others, will also be attending the awards ceremony.
The 11th annual Seoul International Drama Awards will take place at KBS Hall in Yeouido, Seoul on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
