Galleria Duty Free 63, a duty-free store run by Hanwha Galleria, said Wednesday it will offer three part-time ad jobs that pay $20,000 for one week each, as part of its marketing and brand-advertising efforts.

People aged 18 and above in Korea, Japan and China can apply for the positions by Aug. 15 via the company's website (goldenchance.galleria-dfs.com), company officials said.

If selected, the three people will earn $20,000 each while shopping at the duty-free store or visiting major tourist destinations in Seoul from Oct. 3-9.  A video of their activities will be streamed in real time via social networking services.

Those who want to apply for the event need to post a one-minute self-introduction video on their social networking services and post the link for the video on the event's website.

After screening the videos, a pool of applicants will be selected through an public online vote.

The three people will be chosen from that pool of applicants, company officials said.

"It is a global campaign that aims to make Yeouido a tourist destination through Galleria Duty Free 63," an official at Hanwha Galleria said. (Yonhap)
