July 11, 2016 - 15:47 By Korea Herald
Korea’s longest DJ festival, 2016 Summer DJ Festival, is coming to Seorak Beach in Gangwon Province, from July 21 to Aug. 15.

The 26-day festival will bring together 20 of the most prominent and up-and-coming DJs and musicians in the country, including DJ Chunja, Super Junior’s Kim Ki-bum, DJ Peachade, Davii and DJ Pascal Dior. In addition to showcasing some of the season’s hottest electronic dance music, the festival will include dance performances and other exciting attractions.

Big Bang member Lee Seung-hyun’s younger sister -- better known by her stage name DJ Hanna -- will be making her much anticipated debut at the event.

“Given how long the festival is, this event will give me a chance to meet a lot of people and truly enjoy my summer,” said DJ Peachade, who will give 10 performances during the festival, in a press release.

To help attendees escape the summer heat, there will be a Drinking Zone, where concertgoers can have drinks and snacks.

The festival opens daily from 6 p.m. to midnight. Admission is 20,000 won ($17) and includes one beer or cocktail.
