Korea's consumer prices remain unchanged at 0.8 % in June

[THE INVESTOR] Korea’s consumer prices increased by less than 1 percent in June for the second consecutive month, government data showed on July 1.

The country’s consumer price index rose 0.8 percent last month from a year earlier, according to the data by Statistics Korea.

From a month earlier, the June figure remained the same.

Core inflation, which excludes volatile oil and food prices increased 1.9 percent compared with last year, saw the same increase as a month ago.
