Elensilia’s snail cream has been named the top-selling skin care product on a home shopping network for six consecutive years, according to the cosmetics-maker.
First launched in September 2009, the skin care cream containing snail extract has maintained its place on top of the skin care rankings at NS Home Shopping. It has recorded over 250,000 returning customers on that channel alone.

The cream contains 80 percent glycosaminoglycans, a chemical developed in cooperation with French cosmetics ingredients provider Sederma.
The product helps to lock moisture into the skin and has an antioxidant effect to slow skin aging. Clinical tests have also shown that the cream is effective in repairing damaged skin, minimizing wrinkles, as well as lifting and brightening the skin.
According to Elensilia, the company is also preparing a research paper together with Chung-Ang University outlining the anti-aging effects of glycosaminoglycans.
Following its success on the NS Home Shopping network, Elensilia’s snail extract cream has been launched overseas in countries such as Taiwan, China and the U.S.
