Verbal Jint confesses to drunk driving

Rapper Kim Jin-tae, better known by his stage name Verbal Jint, confessed to drunk driving on his official Instagram on Sunday.

On the Instagram, Kim revealed the details of the incident, expressing deep regret.

“Four days ago, I got caught driving under the influence in my neighborhood with a blood alcohol level of 0.067 percent, for which my license is expected to be suspended for 100 days,” wrote Kim, adding “It’s all my fault, and I apologize for my reckless actions.”

 
Kim had uploaded this posting for the sake of his conscience before either local media or police reported it, Kim’s agency Brand New Music told to local media.

Kim was caught driving under the influence near an elementary school in Mapo-gu, Seoul, at around 10 p.m. on June 16. He told police that he was on his way to a supermarket after drinking beer at home, local media reported, quoting police sources.
