The new Audi R8 V10 plus, the higher trim option of Audi’s two-seater sports car R8, boasts supercar-level performance. It comes with 610 horsepower and a maximum torque of 57.1 kilogram-meters.

The car’s new aluminum and carbon fiber structure contributes to lighter weight and 40 percent better rigidity, which leads to overall performance improvement.

The car with the sharpened exterior look reaches 100 kilometers per hour from zero in just 3.2 seconds.

It also sports new interior with a redesigned digital dashboard featuring a new 12.3-inch TFT display.

“The new Audi R8 to be rolled out in the market in the latter part of this year will fit well Korean drivers enjoying being sporty,’’ Audi Korea managing director Cedric Journel said at the unveiling event of the motor show.

The German luxury carmaker also debuted the new Audi A6 all-road Quattro, the sporty version of the third generation of Audi’s sport utility vehicle estate.

Audi’s A6 all-road has built its reputation for exploring the niche filling the gap between SUV and wagon by blending on-road ability with off-road prowess.

According to the company, the latest A6 Allroad comes with an innovative four-level air suspension that alters the ride height depending on conditions and a new multimedia interface display with off-road features like tilt-angle control suitable for negotiating slopes.
