Given the 2016 Busan Motor Show’s “smart premium” theme, Renault Samsung said Sunday that it would be showcasing three new vehicles at the event: the QM6, a revamped version of the QM5 sport utility vehicle, the Twizy electric smart car and the Renault Clio R.S. -- all of which are slated to be rolled out here in the second half of this year.
“We are confident that the high-end QM6 SUV will wow visitors as it is the only fully modified SUV model among mass-produced car brands this year,” the company’s spokesperson said.

The QM6, an upgraded version of the midsize SUV QM5, was developed mainly by the Korean affiliate of Renault Group. The new model to be produced in its Busan plant will reportedly replace QM5 when the new one is rolled out.
Alongside the QM6, Renault Samsung will also unveil its much-awaited electric car Twizy. The compact electric car has a top speed of 80 kilometers per hour and is able to drive at a maximum of 100 kilometers on a single charge.

Twizy had previously not been allowed on the roads in Korea because it was classified as neither a four-wheeled nor two-wheeled vehicle. However, the Ministry of Transport announced this month that it would lift the regulatory barriers that had kept the car off the road.
Other vehicles to be on display at the event include the SM7, SM6, SM5 Classic, QM3 and SM3, according to the automaker.
