As to growing popularity of Explorer, on top of less competition in the segment, company officials pointed out the vehicle’s edge in fuel efficiency, despite its big size.
The popularity of Explorer boosted the sales of Ford Korea which was ranked fourth in April among foreign car brands, three notches up from the seventh place in March.
When it comes to top three foreign car brands in sales last month, BMW Korea topped by selling 4,040 units, followed by Mercedes-Benz Korea and Audi Korea.
