South Korean actor Park Hae-jin was made a cover model for a Chinese fashion magazine, his talent agency said on Tuesday.

Park, 33, appeared on the cover of the May edition of "Yizhou," followed by a photo spread and interview, Mountain Movement said.

The heartthrob played the lead character Shen An in "Far Away Love," a Chinese television series that recently aired.

Thanks to his prolific acting career at home and in China, Park was nominated for best actor at the upcoming 2016 LETV Movie and Drama Awards. The annual ceremony will kick off in Beijing on Wednesday.

The actor is slated to hold a fan meeting at the SK Handball Gymnasium in Seoul's Olympic Park at 5 p.m. on April 23, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of his debut.

The fan meeting event will be aired live via "V," a live broadcasting app operated by South Korea's biggest portal site Naver, in various countries including Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, Japan, the U.S., and Malaysia. In China, the country's biggest content sharing site Youku will exclusively show the event. (Yonhap)
