Fruit not fruity enough? Get your money back

April 12, 2016 - 14:30 By Lim Jeong-yeo

Lotte Super, a major local retailer, will refund all fruit that customers found unsatisfactory in celebration of the 16th anniversary of its foundation.

CEO Choi Choon-seok on Tuesday said, “Neither the price nor the size of a fruit has any effect on customers if it is not delicious. We promise to refund or exchange all fruits that fell short of our customers’ expectations.”

This new policy will be put into practice from Wednesday’s 16th anniversary sales event. Lotte Super will also maintain its 20 percent discount coupon promotion for the 10 best-selling vegetables.

At Wednesday’s sales event, Lotte Super stores will offer mega-discounts for the following products:

-LA galbi for 1,980 won per 100 grams (1,580 won for L. POINT members)

-30 organic eggs for 2,780 won upon purchase with Lotte, Shinhan and KB cards

-20 kilograms of rice for 31,500 won

-1.4 kilograms of strawberries for 6,980 won

Customers making a purchase of more than 50,000 won and 100,000 won from the offline Lotte Super store will receive discount coupons and other special gifts, such as instant ramen and more.

Mobile Lotte Super Mall will offer customers purchasing over 40,000 won in goods on Wednesday additional 15 percent discounts -- with a ceiling of 7,000 won.

Those purchasing more than 160,000 won in goods between Wednesday and April 3 will be given 7,000 L.POINT, which can be used at other Lotte affiliates.
