March 24, 2016 - 11:43 By KH디지털2
South Korean boy band GOT7 will return to the stage with a new dance-pop song "Fly," the group's management said on Thursday.

The seven-member act will showcase "Fly," the title track of its latest half-length album "FLIGHT LOG: DEPARTURE," on Thursday evening on MCountdown, a signature music show of local cable television network Mnet, JYP Entertainment said. The new album was released on Monday with double title tracks, "Fly" and "Home Run."

"Fly," composed and lyricized by Ear Attack and "frontier kick sound," depicts a young man's undisguised and unwavering love for his lover. In the music show, GOT7 will flaunt its trademark edgy group dance moves and powerful performance.

GOT7's seven artists -- JB, Mark, Jackson, Junior, Youngjae, BamBam and Yugyeom -- have already drawn excitement among K-pop fans with the official music video of "Fly" released three days ago. Thanks to its fans around the globe, the music video drew more than 1 million viewers on social video streaming network YouTube in the first 13 hours of release, and is now nearing the 4 million mark.

In the first three days of release, GOT7's album "FLIGHT LOG: DEPARTURE" topped local album chart Hanteo for three consecutive days, a promising start for the group's comeback in 2016.

MCountdown is broadcast every Thursday at 6 p.m. on Mnet. (Yonhap)
