JYP Entertainment, one of South Korea's three largest entertainment agencies, said Saturday its founder Park Jin-young will work on a joint project with American talk show host Conan O'Brien next week.
It said the project is scheduled to be held on Thursday in South Korea, though it did not provide any further details.
It is rumored that the South Korean singer and O'Brien may shoot a music video together.
O'Brien is set to arrive in Seoul on Sunday for a five-day trip to shoot his "Conan" show, according to a local fan who claims to have been contacted by the Conan team.
During his stay, O'Brien might tour downtown Seoul and a traditional Korean village near Seoul, a Naver blogger who goes by the alias KIMMYS said in a blog post. More than 1,100 people are subscribed to the blog, which has been posting updates on O'Brien's schedule in South Korea.
He will also likely try out "soju," or Korean rice liquor; make kimchi, a Korean side dish made with fermented cabbage; and receive acupuncture, with a meeting with more than 200 fans scheduled for Monday.
Other rumors say O'Brien will make cameo appearances in a Wonder Girls music video and other local shows. (Yonhap)
