Citibank Korea has opened a wealth management center that features digital innovation and a wide array of services in downtown Seoul, the bank said Tuesday.

The Citigold Banpo Center is equipped with intuitive touch screens and high-definition media walls to promote customer engagement with its products and services.

The bank also expanded its asset management system by launching a new service called Citi Priority, targeting newly affluent people. The service offers a digitalized and efficient banking experience to equip financially progressive clients with better control over their wealth and time to help them achieve their goals, the firm said.

“We are pleased to introduce Citi Priority to complement our leading wealth management platform in Korea. Citi Priority not only helps these emerging affluent clients save on transactions through our digital banking channels, but also offers seamless banking services that give clients freedom and flexibility to decide how and when they want to interact with us,” said Citibank Korea CEO Park Jin-hei.

With the opening of Citigold Banpo Center, wealth management services previously offered to customers with assets above 100 million won ($85,500) will also be expanded to cover customers with assets of more than 50 million won.
