Korean design company Boud announced Thursday that it has bagged the CES 2016 Innovation Award in the Digital Imaging Category for its PIC product.

The award winners are acknowledged for their innovative design and engineering in tech products and services in the market.

PIC is the world’s first lifestyle camera that boasts a unique design -- users can use the camera at any angle because of its flexible handle, and it can be used without any holders or mounting kits.

“We are excited to be providing a unique solution to the increasing global action camcorder market with the development of the PIC,” said Boud CEO Jimmy Park, adding that the company plans to add collaborative character models for future PIC products.

Sponsored by the Consumer Technology Association, the CES Innovation Awards have been recognizing remarkable product design, function and engineering since 1976.

Boud’s PIC products will be displayed at the CES 2016 Innovation Awards, to be held next January in Las Vegas, Nevada.
