Rising actor Yoo Ah-in wants to act in an erotic film next, he said at the Busan International Film festival Saturday.

"I know the fame I’m enjoying right now won’t last forever,” he said, referring to movies “Veteran” and “The Throne,” his recent consecutive box office hits that garnered millions of viewers.

“Veteran,” a crime-action flick released in August, toppled the cumulative sales record of Hollywood movie “Avatar” and took the place of third best-selling film in Korea of all times.

Produced by celebrated director Ryoo Seung-wan, the movie raked in more than 1 trillion won ($853 million), vastly profiting from the original production cost of 60 billion won ($51,186,000).

Yoo’s unforeseen forte in acting out the irascible corporate heir in “Veteran,” and the love-deprived tragic crown prince in “The Throne” immediately put him in the limelight.

His upcoming 50-episode TV drama “Six Flying Dragons” is slated to premiere Monday at 10 p.m. on SBS.

Turning 30 on Tuesday, the actor is anticipated to soon begin his military duty required of all able-bodied South Korean men.
