The Australian police on Monday arrested a South Korean man in his 20s in Sydney on suspicions that he killed another man, thought to be Korean, in the country, according to Seoul’s Foreign Ministry.

The body of the deceased man was found in a forest near Sydney last Saturday.

The Foreign Ministry said that it had asked the Australian police to carry out a prompt and fair investigation into the case. It also said that it would provide appropriate support to the families of the deceased and the suspect.
