LG Electronics Inc., South Korea's No. 2 tech giant, said Tuesday it would cooperate with search-engine behemoth Google Inc. in promoting its organic light-emitting diode TVs.
LG Electronics said it seeks to use Google's video-sharing platform YouTube and other tools to push up the market's awareness of its products.
The South Korean firm said it will expand global sales of OLED TVs by targeting high-end global consumers estimated at around 100 million.
"Google has been helping marketers better communicate with consumers online and through mobile devices through its various advertisements and marketing solutions," said John Lee, who heads Google Korea. "We will make efforts to help global firms like LG meet more consumers through digital platforms." (Yonhap)
