Expat volunteer group PLUR’s Help Your Seoul Branch is holding a fund-raising scavenger hunt in Hongdae on Saturday.

The group’s operations include projects to help feed the homeless and teach underprivileged children.

“During the spring and summer months, the two main shelters in the Seoul Station area close their doors a lot longer, so the amount of homeless people we have to feed increases. We frequently go over budget during this time,” said Alex Neve, who is organizing the event and heads the Help Your Seoul branch of PLUR, which distributes food bags around Namdaemun every Sunday.

Prizes include drinks and a bar tab at Joon’s Bar in Hongdae.

Participants will meet at Hongik University Station at 7 p.m. participation costs 10,000 won. Proceeds will go toward PLUR’s operations.
