Audi shows off connection between technology, fashion

April 2, 2015 - 19:40 By Korea Herald
The New Audi 6 with lighter frame, boosted powertrain and LED headlight, is the frontrunner for Audi at the Seoul Motor Show.

Scheduled to make its official debut in Korea before June, the best-selling model from the German carmaker flaunts its sleek and sensual yet dynamic appearance.

Alongside the A6, Audi Volkswagen Group’s luxury brand will attract visitors with the new Audi A7 ― which has been given a partial facelift including the Matrix LED headlight to secure wider view ― and the new Audi TT ― with a sporty performance from the next-generation TFSI engine alongside virtual cockpit display and matrix headlight.

Other models on display during the auto trade show include the new Audi Q3 ― which has a three-dimensional single frame grille ― and the new Audi A1 ― named the best compact car by Auto Zeitung last year.

The company is also infusing its technology with style by holding a fashion show at its exhibition booth. Models wearing creations of noted fashion designer label MUNSOO KWON will strut the catwalk next to the 22 cars displayed at the booth.

“This reveals Audi’s unique identity and other events that encourage participation from visitors, thus making an active contribution to the successful hosting of the motor show,” said Johannes Thammer, managing director of Audi Korea.

“With various new models that will be unveiled in advanced and upgraded quality of service, we will do our best to realize customer satisfaction this year.”
