A 15th-century royal seal of Korea has returned home from the Seattle Art Museum in the U.S., where it had been kept since 1963, Korea’s Cultural Heritage Administration said Wednesday. The royal seal of Deokjong (1438-1457), a crown prince of the Joseon Dynasty, is believed to have been taken out of the country by U.S. military personnel during or after the Korean War. (Yonhap)
