Gwangju V-Day show to help women’s causes

Performances of “A Memory, a Monologue, a Rant and a Prayer” will be held this weekend in Gwangju to aid women’s causes.

“A Memory, a Monologue, a Rant and a Prayer” is one of the standard performances for V-Day, a global movement to campaign against violence against women and girls and raise money for related causes.

Proceeds from the Gwangju show will go to Our House, Korea Women’s Hot Line and Gwangju Settler Women Support Center.

The shows will be held at Yunbaram Theater on Saturday at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m.
