Stand Up Seoul founder returns for anniversary show

March 4, 2015 - 20:04 By Korea Herald
Stand Up Seoul will be celebrating its sixth anniversary Friday with a special show featuring a headline set by Canada-based comic and former Seoul expat Bryan Aylward.

Aylward founded Stand Up Seoul, which has been a key part of Korea’s comedy scene, giving performance time to amateur expat comics and hosting professional North American comics in Korea including Tom Rhodes, Glenn Wool and Kyle Kinane.

Aylward is returning to Korea for his Spicy Cabbage Comedy Tour, which will begin Friday and feature Friday and Saturday shows in Seoul, Gyeonggi Province, Gwangju, Busan and Mokpo, South Jeolla Province, finishing in Seoul on April 3.

The anniversary show will be hosted by Stand Up Seoul stalwart Rudy Tyburczy and feature expat comics Jeff Sinclair, Rob Fioretta and Nevada Rhodes.

The show starts at 9:30 p.m. at Rocky Mountain Tavern in Itaewon.

Entry is 10,000 won and there will be drink specials and door prizes on the night.
