NKHR Rescue Fund will be hosting an event in Seoul called “Two Truths and a Lie,” based on the lie detection game of the same name.
The format will be used to show how North Korea uses propaganda to maintain control.
A defector will be at the event to talk about his experiences with propaganda and surveillance while growing up in Pyongyang.
There will also be a raffle to raise money for the rescue of North Korean refugees.
The event begins 7:30 p.m. Friday at Rocky Mountain Tavern in Itaewon. There is a suggested donation at the door of 10,000 won.
