Belly dancer Eshe Yildiz is set to hold the 19th “Shake Shop” club night in Hongdae on Saturday.

Eshe founded the monthly event in 2013 and also dances with the Eshe and Navah troupe.

She says she feels blessed to have had the opportunity to meet everyone who has been involved.

“I can’t believe all of the talented Seoul indie bands we’ve been able to work together with. It’s been such a fun and amazing experience to collaborate with so many amazing acts,” she said.

Shake Shop 19, which runs at Freebird 2 in Hongdae, will feature indie bands No. 1 Korean, Ynot, and Sugar, Come Again. As always, Eshe and her dance troop Navah will be collaborating on stage with each artist.

Eshe is moving back to Canada this spring but says she has been so busy organizing the last two Shake Shop events that she hasn’t had time to reflect on her eight years in Seoul.

The final Shake Shop will take place on Feb. 14.
