Next year, The Ritz-Carlton, Seoul will celebrate the 20th anniversary of its opening and its luxury hospitality service that has left a lasting impression on foreign and Korean guests since 1995.
The hotel, one of the first foreign luxury hotel chains in Korea, has become an ideal destination for business and leisure travelers and a frequent home for world stars, including Lady Gaga.
Located in the Korean capital’s business, culture and fashion district, it has striven to provide each guest with lasting memories and experiences. It has become a landmark of the Gangnam area, winning the Korea Architecture Award right after it opened in 1995. It has also won prestigious travel awards including TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Awards in 2014.
The hotel, situated on a 10,363-square-meter area, has 375 rooms, including 47 suites. The Presidential Suite has hosted foreign heads of states and received the Gold Key Award for the world’s best hotel suite. The Presidential Suite distinguishes itself from others with masterpieces by Pablo Picasso and Roy Lichtenstein displayed on its walls.
For events and meetings, the hotel has the 1,449-square-meter Grand Ballroom, which can accommodate up to 500 guests. All small and large meeting rooms are equipped with the state-of-the-art meeting facilities.
The hotel has six dining, drinking and confectionery establishments. These include the all-day dining restaurant The Garden, Chinese restaurant Chee Hong, Japanese restaurant Hanazono, Oksan Buffet, The Ritz Bar and The Ritz Deli.
The hotel also has a fitness club that offers personal training services and cutting-edge fitness methods. The gym is equipped with workout machines that optimize personal fitness plans. It runs various exercise programs such as stretching and yoga.
To celebrate its 20th anniversary, the hotel plans to hold a range of promotions and events under the slogan “Let Us Stay with You” in 2015.
