North Korea's point man on South Korea invited aides of the late South Korean President Kim Dae-jung to a joint inter-Korean factory park in the North next week, South Korea said Friday.
The surprise move by Kim Yang-gon came three days after the aides visited the factory park in the North's western border city of Kaesong to deliver a wreath commemorating the third anniversary of the death of the late North Korean leader Kim Jong-il.
Kim Yang-gon said in a message that he wants to express thanks to the aides of the late South Korean president, according to the South Korean government. (Yonhap)
