A myriad of rumors began circulating online Wednesday morning surrounding up-and-coming American R&B singer Jeff Bernat, who reportedly posted a tweet hinting at a possible collaboration with popular K-pop idol star Taeyang of Big Bang.

According to a number of reports, Bernat tweeted a message suggesting that he would be working with the Big Bang star on Tuesday, but quickly deleted it soon after posting, leaving fans questioning its veracity.

In a previous interview with The Korea Herald in October, the singer did confirm that he was participating in collaboration projects with two local artists but was not at liberty to say exactly which artists were involved with these projects.

Some reports have gone as far as to state that the two were likely to perform live together at a local year-end event.

Bernat first gained recognition on YouTube and became a huge hit in Korea with his R&B single, “Call You Mine.” In July the singer unveiled his latest single “Be the One,” which he specifically wrote for the storyline of the Korean drama, “You Are My Destiny.”
