A ventilation grille near an outdoor concert venue collapsed on Friday in Gyeonggi Province, and appears to have killed at least 14 people and injured 11, police said.

The fatal accident took place when a few dozen people stepped onto the grille during a concert by K-pop girl group 4Minute at an outdoor theater U-Space in Bundang, Seongnam City. Around 700 had been attending the concert.

The injured have been sent to local hospitals.
