Free business consulting in Yeouido, Gangnam

Gangnam and Yeouido Global Business Centers are offering business consultations for expat entrepreneurs this month.

The Yeouido sessions will focus on accounting on Oct. 7, offering advice on U.S. tax returns, avoiding double taxation and other issues. A second session on customs and clearance, including FTAs and import and export procedures, will take place on Oct. 21.

Advice is available in English, Japanese and Korean. Four 40-minute slots are available from 2-5 p.m. on each day, and can be booked via yeouidosmbiz@gmail.com.

Gangnam Global Center in Coex will offer consulting on incorporation and legal affairs, including foreign direct investment, incorporation procedures and corporate registration. Advice is available in English, Japanese, Chinese and Korean. Sessions run from 2-5 p.m., and can be reserved via gangnambiz@gmail.com.

The Seoul Global Center in Jongno, meanwhile, is running its Business Start-up School from Oct. 13 to Nov. 7. The course covers general advice and instruction on setting up a business in Seoul in 10 weekday evening sessions during that period.

The course is free and open to foreign residents in Seoul. Applications close Friday.
