Sept. 23, 2014 - 20:37 By Korea Herald
Crayon Pop will be jumping and jumping onto the K-pop subunit bandwagon, with the debut of the popular girl group’s first group next month, according to an announcement by Chrome Entertainment on Tuesday.

The agency has not yet revealed exactly which of the five members will be included in the upcoming group nor has it revealed the name of the new act.

Although Crayon Pop was initially scheduled to release its first full studio album next month, according to Chrome officials, the album release date is being pushed back. The agency will instead have the new unit promoting in October and give itself more time to work on Crayon Pop’s album.

“Because it is the group’s first full-length album, we want to ensure the highest quality of not only the lead single, but all of the tracks on the album,” said a Chrome Official in the announcement. “We realized during the preparation of the album, we feel that there needed to be some changes to Crayon Pop’s new approaches and concepts so we have decided to delay the release of the album.”
