Legendary K-pop idol Seo Taiji has been keeping fans hyped with continuous updates on his return to the stage next month. On Monday, officials at Seo Taiji Co. announced that the theme and venue of the artist’s upcoming comeback concert have been officially set.
Seo is slated to host a Christmas-Halloween hybrid-themed concert titled “Christmalowin” on Oct. 18 at Olympic Stadium at Jamsil Sports Complex in Seoul. The intention of this type of fusion-themed show is to create an innovative music festival-type atmosphere, according to a press release.

Seo Taiji Co. officials have suggested that they are pulling out all the stops for the upcoming concert, which they call a “blockbuster” event.
“We are equipping the stadium with the same top-quality speakers that are used by the rock band Metallica during its world tours,” the press release said. The release went on to state that the company plans to use an internationally recognized audio technician to personally inspect the audio system for the upcoming concert.
Seo is also slated to release his ninth studio album sometime in mid-October, though the exact release date has not yet been announced. It is said that the artist will unveil the songs from his new album for the first time at his upcoming concert, as well as perform some of Seo Taiji and Boys’ most iconic hits such as “Come Back Home,” “Hayeoga” and more.
The first round of ticket sales will open Wednesday at 8 p.m. at interpark.com.
Following the October concert in Seoul, the musician is expected to perform in select cities nationwide.
