Aug. 12, 2014 - 21:25 By Korea Herald
Hyundai Motor Co., South Korea’s largest carmaker, said Tuesday it has unveiled the all-new i20 mini B-segment car that will battle rivals in hotly contested overseas markets.

The debut of the car in New Delhi comes ahead of its global launch at the Paris Motor Show set for early October. It replaces the current model that has sold more than 1.06 million units since production began in 2008.

Rivals of the new car include such established players as the Volkswagen Polo, Ford Figo, Opel Corsa and Maruti Swift.

The company said the completely new sheet metal of the i20 Elite aims to appeal to European, Indian and other overseas market buyers. (Yonhap)
