July 22, 2014 - 21:10 By Korea Herald
Itaewon’s Global Village Center will be hosting a makgeolli-making night on Friday.

Makgeolli is a traditional Korean rice wine that is made from water, yeast and fermented boiled rice, the latter of which gives the beverage its alcoholic and milky properties.

At the end of the session, participants will be able to take home their very own handmade makgeolli.

The event will run from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. and will cost 10,000 won.

To register, you may visit the center, call (02) 2119-8883-4 or send an email to itaewon@yongsan.go.kr.
