July 22, 2014 - 21:10 By Korea Herald
Gwangju International Center is hosting a classical music concert Saturday for Korean and expat music lovers.

Honam Theological University and Seminary and regional representatives are holding the “Pong-dang Classic” at the GIC.

The “Pong-dang Classic” is performed regularly in Gwangju with the purpose of bringing together classical music lovers and ordinary people. This year’s concert will have introductions in both Korean and English.

The music will include tunes from famous operas such as “Cosi fan tutte” and “The Magic Flute,” and other classical pieces. Later, there will be a short selection of Korean folk songs.

The concert will take place at 4:30 p.m. at the Gwangju International Center, with no entrance charge.
