July 18, 2014 - 20:20 By Lee Woo-young
Luxury train Haerang, run by the Korea Railroad Corporation, has resumed service following renovations. Launched in 2008, Haerang, a combination of train trip and accommodation, has attracted more than 20,000 Korean and foreign customers. The renovation has added new suite rooms and routes. One of the new routes is a three-day trip around South Korea. In mid-August, the train will start a summer vacation tour that includes yachting off Haeundae Beach in Busan. An unlimited amount of beverages and wine will be available along with onboard entertainment such as magic performances. The two-night and three-day route starts at 2.4 million won per couple.
