10cm staging third album preview show

July 15, 2014 - 20:03 By Korea Herald
Beloved acoustic duo 10cm, which had everyday people breaking into song when ordering a simple cup of Americano, is asking for the public’s help to decide the lead track for the indie band’s newest third studio album.

It has been announced that the folk hipsters Kwon Jung-yeol and Yoon Cheol-jong will be holding a special preview concert next month in which they intend to unveil all the songs off their upcoming album prior to its public release. The official release date of the yet-to-be-titled album has not been revealed.

The “teaser concert” will be held on two days, Aug. 29-30, at Sogang University’s Mary Hall. After the performances have concluded, the members claim that the song that received the most hype from audience members will be selected as the album’s title track.

Since its debut in 2010, the duo has become one of the most recognized indie music acts in the country, with their concerts being well-known for selling out quickly. The first round of ticket sales for the upcoming preview concerts opened on July 7 and the selected seats for both shows sold out within 30 minutes.

The remaining general tickets will go on sale on July 16, starting at 2 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online at www.burudaconcert.com.
