2일 중국 복수 언론은 탕웨이와 김태용 감독의 결혼 소식이 전해지자 속보를 통해 이 소식을 전했다. 중국 최대 포털사이트 ‘시나닷컴’은 탕웨이와 김태용 감독 결혼 소식을 메인으로 다뤘고, 해당 기사에는 댓글 수가 20만 건 이상을 돌파하며 화제를 모으고 있다.
현지 매체들은 김태용 감독과 탕웨이가 영화 ‘만추’에서 함께 작업한 후 친구로 지내다 연인 사이로 발전했다고 보도했다.

Famous Chinese actress Tang Wei will tie the knot with Korean movie director Kim Tae-yong this fall, Kim’s agency announced on Wednesday.
The two first met during the filming of the movie “Manchu,” which Kim directed and Tang Wei played the female lead role in.
“The two first met each other as director and actress, and have now decided to become life partners this fall. The wedding will be held with close acquaintances and family only,” the agency said.
“The two became friends after filming ‘Manchu,’ and took a step further in October 2013, when Tang Wei visited Korea for an advertisement shoot,” the agency added.
“We first met in a movie and began to understand each other. We became friends and then fell in love. Now we would like to be life companions. Even though that means we have to learn each other’s language, the difficulty of it will also be one of the happiest moments of our lives,” the message sent from the two said.
